Visit to the Tent of Nations vineyard

Last friday, June 20-2014 we hade an eye opener exposure to the place of David Nassar, a Palestinian Christian family fighting for their ancestral land since 1991 when the Israeli government declared the whole area an Israeli State property. Nassar has all the original land documents from the Ottman period up to this present government. They fight their rights in a legal way and brought this issues to the high court. Nassar family situation is just one concrete example of exploition around the whole world fighting for land, life, dignity and freedom against their oppressors.

According to David Nassar, “our response to this injustice is not with violence, not being a victim and not by running away but by facing it in a non-violent way by channeling our pain to be in a constructive power that leads to a better future under the slogan: we refuse to be enemies.“

They are calling us for help especially for the international supports to walk with them not behind or in front of them but to walk with them side by side.

Laughing is my weak point

They also exude a feeling of joy because he loved life and everything in it that was good and beautiful. For him everything  was a spring-board to God: nature, light, stars, fire, flowers, animals. Visit of Pope Francis in Holy Land

I couldn’t believe to be near the pope. I never thought to have this unbelievably experience and never dreamed to see the Pope here in Jerusalem. Amazing I was able to tough Pope Francis hand and  I admire him for being involved and calling to act for justice and peace  especially to us, as religious. It was a great joy to be able to see Pope Francis closely and to pray with him for peace and harmony in the Holy Land despite of cultural and religious differences. I have no words to express my happiness how significant is for me, having had the opportunity to see and tough Pope Francis, his presence was a big blessing.

Rhineland spirituality

Today we studied with Sr. Elisabeth  the Rhineland spirituality.

Father Theodore recounts in book 4 page 277 when Jesus Christ tells us to remain ever in His love; „remain in my love“ I answer  “In Sion firmata sum”  I am establsiched in Sion.”
