On November 12th 2015 there was a celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Vatican II Council Document “Nostra Aetate“. Many Religious, local Christians, Jews and Muslims met in the “Notre Dame Center” just outside the Old City of Jerusalem to celebrate this important step and turning point in the relation between the Catholic Church and the other religions, especially the Jewish Community.

Some glimpse of this joyful feast: My Religion is a religion of Love, Peace the value of feeling each other. My faith is love, the one thing to do is to believe that this is possible: follow the call to love!
The Prayer of St. Francis in song was part of our celebration:
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon; Where there is doubt, faith; Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light; Where there is sadness, joy.
O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek To be consoled as to console,
To be understood as to understand,To be loved as to love; For it is in giving that we receive;
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned; It is in dying to self that we are born to eternal life.
