On 9th March, we had a beautiful mass in the big chapel. Then, we invited the priest Carlos, Br. Thiago and Br. Victor (Brothers of Sion) to have Costa Rican breakfast with us. That’s how we celebrated Carlos’ Birthday! We had a delicious “Gallo pinto”, eggs and coffee.

We blessed the Lord for Carlos’ life, his bravery and ministries in the congregation.

“Here is my servant whom I uphold, my chosen one in whom my soul delights. I have sent my spirit upon him, he will bring fair judgement to the nations.“ (Isaiah 42, 1)

In addition, on 13th March Carlos prepared a delicious Brazilian Lunch to celebrate his birthday. We had a beautiful time together with all apostolic and contemplative sisters and brothers of Sion. We had our lunch in the garden and it was a lovely day.

“How very good and pleasant it is when kindred live together in unity.” (Psalm. 133, 1.)
